Grace Centre, part of Grace Community Services (GCS), aids individuals trapped in addiction cycles, including substances, alcohol, and drugs. Founded by Reverand Dr. Henry K Pillai in 1990, GCS strives to break this cycle. Grace Centre offers shelter, food, counseling, and "work therapy" such as farming. After completing the program, participants receive job assistance. The centre helps 30-40 individuals annually. Interviews are conducted to ascertain readiness for change before the program begins. The centre charges a nominal fees, which can be waived for those in need, focusing on transformative healing.
