Grace Home For The Destitute, founded by Reverend Dr. Henry K Pillai, shelters abused, neglected, and homeless individuals. Rev Dr. Henry's compassionate encounter led to its establishment in 1980. The home accommodates those left without support, such as elderly Chinese women brought to Malaysia for work. It has provided refuge and transformed lives since then. It was formally  registered in 1996 as Persatuan Kebajikan Rumah Grace Klang.Dependent on donations, Grace Home offers residents a safe haven without charges. Persatuan Rumah KIDS was founded in 1991 to care for orphaned, abandoned, abused or neglected children. The word K.I.D.S stands for Kanak-kanak ini diSayangi and truly, at Rumah KIDS – they are loved and cared for. Under the guidance of house parents, the children live together in a loving environment. They find joy and security in a healthy routine of study, chores, play and rest. Besides providing the children’s basic needs of food, clothing, shelter and education, Rumah K.I.D.S also cares for the spiritual, mental and physical aspects of every child.Over the last 30 years, Rumah K.I.D.S has housed, fed and nurtured over 300 children. We are funded by kind donors in the community, from individuals to corporations and non-profit agencies. Volunteers also work alongside us to teach our children, be it academic or living skills.
