Psalm 115:9–18 (NKJV)

"O Israel, trust in the Lord; He is their help and their shield... The Lord has been mindful of us; He will bless us; He will bless the house of Israel... He will bless those who fear the Lord, both small and great... But we will bless the Lord from this time forth and forevermore. Praise the Lord!"

In the Father’s house, we are a blessed people. Here are ten biblical blessings:

1. Adamic Blessing: Fruitfulness, Multiplication, and Dominion

Genesis 1:28 (NKJV)

"Then God blessed them, and God said to them, ‘Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it...’"

Wherever God has placed us—at home, work, or church—that is the ‘garden’ we are to tend and care for.

2. Abrahamic Blessing: A Blessing to All Nations

With obedience comes blessing.

Genesis 22:17–18 (NKJV)

"Blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants... In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice."

3. Aaronic Blessing: Speaking Blessings Over Others

Numbers 6:24–26 (NKJV)

"The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you... and give you peace."

4. Mosaic Blessing: Blessings of Obedience

Deuteronomy 28:1–13 lists blessings for obedience, while Deuteronomy 28:15–68 details the curses that come with disobedience.

5. Psalmist’s Blessing: Delighting in the Law of the Lord

Psalm 1:1–3 (NKJV)

"Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly... But his delight is in the law of the Lord... Whatever he does shall prosper."

6. Prophetic Blessing: Trusting and Hoping in the Lord

Jeremiah 17:7–8 (NKJV)

"Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord... He will not fear when heat comes but will remain fruitful."

7. Tither’s Blessing: Opened Windows of Heaven

Withholding tithes robs us of God's blessings.

Malachi 3:10–12 (NKJV)

"Bring all the tithes into the storehouse... If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing... And all nations will call you blessed."

8. Jesus’ Blessing: Inheriting the Kingdom of Heaven

The Beatitudes in Matthew 5:1–12 outline the blessings Jesus spoke of in the Sermon on the Mount.

9. The Saintly Blessing: Every Spiritual Blessing in Christ

Ephesians 1:3, 11 (NKJV)

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ..."

We are blessed on earth, but our eternal blessings are in heaven. Do we trust in God’s Word or the world’s opinions?

10. Pilgrim’s Blessing: Called to Inherit a Blessing

We are pilgrims on earth, preparing for a permanent home in heaven.

1 Peter 3:9 (NKJV)

"Not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing."
