An original Jubilee tribute poem.
God looked for a man, of faith & faithfulness,
With a gung-ho spirit, full of boldness;
A young Bible school student was the fit,
New kid-on-the-block, Henry K. Pillai (then Ramaya), was a hit!
Truly a man of vision & passion,
The word “impossible” didn’t exist in his mission,
God who chose, called & unto him did commission,
To be a forerunner in ministries of compassion.
The DNA of families, missions & social ministry,
Has been embedded in the womb of Grace’s destiny,
The evidence is plain for all to see,
None can deny such a visible powerful testimony!
1972 to 2022, today, we celebrate Grace Assembly’s Jubilee,
Each one of you, past & present, has been a part of this family,
Indeed we have been “CALLED UNTO LIBERTY”,
Jesus, Jehovah Nissi, Commander of the Lord’s Army, our Victory!
But this is not the end...
A new beginning’s just round the bend,
As long as Jesus tarries, we’ll labour on,
Wherever the journey takes us, be it short or long.
Let’s join hands, “berganding bahu”, continually,
Stand in unity, serve in harmony;
Passing on the baton, the legacy,
Doing all unto God’s honour & glory!!
