God Chaser: Be A Worshipper

God desires a people who actively pursue Him with passion, faith, and wholehearted devotion. Being a God Chaser means refusing spiritual passivity, seeking God relentlessly, and responding to His presence with obedience, worship, and love.

A Heart That Goes After God

David is described in Scripture as a man after God’s own heart. This description does not imply perfection, but pursuit. David consistently sought God’s will above his own comfort, showing that what matters most to God is a heart that longs for Him.

God is not looking for flawless people, but responsive hearts that pursue Him sincerely.

Faith Requires Active Participation

Worshippers God Seeks

David remained a worshipper in every season—whether as a shepherd, warrior, fugitive, or king—demonstrating consistency in honoring God regardless of circumstances.

Giving God the Best

True worship involves giving God our best, not leftovers. David danced before the Lord with wholehearted passion, showing surrender and humility.

God Chasers Press Through Barriers

The woman with the issue of blood demonstrated bold faith by pressing through the crowd to reach Jesus. Although many surrounded Him, only one intentional touch activated healing.

Touching God requires determination, courage, and unwavering belief.

Application: Reach out in faith instead of remaining spiritually passive or hesitant.

Transformation Through Encounter

The Samaritan woman encountered Jesus despite cultural barriers, personal struggles, and social rejection. That encounter changed her life and turned her into a witness.

When people genuinely meet God, transformation follows—and transformed lives naturally testify to others.

Application: Allow personal encounters with God to shape your character and purpose.

Worship That Costs Something

The woman who poured out the alabaster jar demonstrated worship that was sacrificial, personal, and costly. Jesus honored her act as a lasting testimony.

True worship prioritizes blessing God over seeking human recognition.

Application: Practice worship that values devotion over convenience or comfort.

The Urgency of Worship

Scripture highlights the contrast between those who seized the moment to worship Jesus and those who arrived too late. Opportunities to honor God should not be delayed.

Every gathering presents a sacred opportunity to bless God in the present moment.
